For reference, the scope and mission of the Shoreline Historical Museum collections are dedicated to the heritage of:
- Shoreline
- Lake Forest Park
- North Seattle
These boundaries include 85th to 205th, and from Puget Sound to Lake Washington.
Research Library:
Part of the Museum’s collection contains a Non-Circulating Research Library. These books are published and unpublished volumes covering a variety of topics with the Museum’s scope of service. You can view our current Library Catalog HERE

Unsolicited Donations:
We highly encourage interested parties to not send donations through the mail or delivered in person without prior contact and authorization by a museum staff member. Shoreline Historical Museum is not obligated to acknowledge, retain, or return unsolicited donations. Additionally, we are unable to accommodate unannounced drop-in visits to review potential donations. Please contact us using the form below in advance to discuss your donation offer. Thank you!
