School of Life

The Museum is proud to be a partner in The 5000 Days / School of Life Project headed by renowned local film director Rick Stevenson, PhD, who set about filming students from their first grade days to their graduation from high school.  Dr. Stevenson’s project is following Shoreline elementary school students and other students around the world throughout their careers as students. This ground-breaking work is on-going, and recently finished portions can be viewed at the Museum. The films are being archived at the Museum, which is acting as the umbrella organization.  Donations to the Museum for 5000 Days/School of Life are distributed directly to the project.
